We’re excited to share a brand-new education initiative at Pfanny’s Farm!
So many kids (and plenty of adults!) can name a flamingo or a penguin… but can’t identify the birds right outside their window. We want to change that.
Thanks to a recent grant from Thrivent, we’ve installed an AI-powered bird feeder here on the farm. Now visitors can watch our native birds up close in real time and learn their names, calls, and quirks.
This little project will help us:
*Spark curiosity about local ecosystems
*Encourage mindfulness and nature connection
*Bring more outdoor learning to our programming
*Share photos and sightings with our whole community
We are in the process of building a digital “guest book” of our feathered visitors-and we can’t wait for you to be part of it!
