We asked our tribe to nominate someone who makes the world a better place thru their thoughtfulness,
good deeds or volunteerism.

 

This year’s Hero at Heart award winner is Patty Davis from Coleridge!

 

Britney nominated her grandmother for the Hero at Heart award, highlighting her selflessness,
compassion, and unwavering dedication to others.
She describes her grandmother as someone who always puts others
before herself, dropping everything to help those in need.
Her grandmother worked for the VA, prioritizing the well-being of veterans,
and has repeatedly traveled long distances to care for her terminally ill sisters without hesitation.
She also devoted seven years to caring for her husband with Alzheimer’s,
taking early retirement to be by his side until his final days.
Despite these challenges, she continues to support her family, including helping Britney
with her children and household needs.
Britney admires her grandmother deeply, calling her a true role model with a heart of gold.
